31st edition of Top Transport!
The recent economic and health crises have shown that the efficiency and agility of the freight transport sector are essential to developing the performance of our economy, both at home and abroad.
The challenges facing this sector are many and strategic, in terms of ensuring the relocation of our industry, modernising trade, responding to new consumption patterns and environmental concerns; the players in the sector need to reduce CO2 emissions, support and accelerate decarbonisation, support the energy transition, ensure the development of multimodal transport, improve the attractiveness of French ports, facilitate urban logistics with the introduction of the ZFE and the deployment of active mobility such as cyclo-logistics or other new delivery methods... These are just some of the hot topics that will undoubtedly be at the heart of discussions between transport professionals and shippers, who are always on the lookout for solutions and innovations to develop their business under the best possible conditions.
This 31st edition will be marked by continuity and change, with the organisation continuing to evolve, in particular with the provision of new tools and services for what we hope will be an "enriched" programme, but always in the magnificent setting of the Palais du Pharo, a space conducive to meetings and conviviality.
The whole TOP TRANSPORT EUROPE team welcomes you and hopes you enjoy this unique experience: business meetings, discussions on subjects that are at the heart of your concerns and friendly encounters, in this city of Marseilles which has been hosting the benchmark event for the transport community for over 30 years.

Transport prices: back to equilibrium?
Sea freight rates plummeted and returned to pre-Covid levels. The rise in road haulage prices has come to a halt, but has not yet begun to fall significantly.
Clearly, transport supply and demand are currently in balance. This conference will provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the challenges ahead for 2024, to master the cost components of road transport and to analyse the reasons behind hauliers' demands for price increases. A number of experts and witnesses will answer these questions at the conference.
Carbon footprint of freight transport: The full transport sector is the biggest emitter of pollutants and greenhouse gases
The number of lorries, aeroplanes and freighters on the road is constantly increasing, with a serious impact on the health of French people and on global warming.
